Restaurant Opportunities Center of New York (ROC-NY) & the 2012 Host Committee

ROC-NY was founded after September 11th to provide support to restaurant workers displaced as a result of the World Trade Center tragedy. ROC-NY has grown to support restaurant workers citywide and is dedicated to winning improved working conditions.

ROC's 10th Anniversary Awards Dinner

On Monday, September 10th, ROC-NY will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an Awards Dinner honoring Saru Jayaraman and Fekkak Mamdouh, Co-Executive Directors of the Restaurant Opportunities Centers United and co-founders of ROC-NY, Joseph McDermott of Consortium for Worker Education, Laine Romero-Alston of Ford Foundation and Reverend Dr. Donna Schaper of Judson Memorial Church. The evening will also commemorate the induction of the Bruce Herman Legacy Award.

Note: After-party begins at 9:30pm.
